Location: Elk Grove, CA (Multiple Sites)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Compensation: $26/ hour + Sick Time, Medical and Dental Benefits Available
Reports to: Executive Leadership Team

Now, we’re looking for a Director of Expanded Learning to elevate our impact.

This is more than a leadership role—it’s your chance to transform the way students learn, grow, and thrive from TK through 8th grade. You’ll lead program strategy, build dynamic teams, strengthen community relationships, and champion excellence across multiple school sites.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and Deliver Exceptional Programs

Create and manage expanded learning programs (during, after school, and intersession) that are engaging, inclusive, and aligned with educational standards.

  • Inspire and Lead Teams

Mentor and manage site-level leaders and program staff across multiple schools. Foster a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability.

  • Strengthen School Partnerships

Serve as the primary liaison with school districts and principals. Align program goals with school site needs and ensure seamless collaboration.

  • Ensure Quality and Compliance

Conduct regular site visits and implement quality assurance protocols. Maintain compliance with district and company policies, licensing, and attendance expectations.

  • Drive Family and Community Engagement

Plan and lead events that strengthen family involvement and build trust within the school community.

  • Develop Staff Through Training

Oversee orientation, ongoing professional development, and support systems that empower staff to deliver high-quality, student-centered programming.

What You Bring

  • Education & Experience
  • At least 48 college units or a Paraeducator certificate required
  • Previous leadership experience in education, youth programs, or child development
  • CPR/First Aid Certified (or willing to obtain)
  • Leadership & Communication Skills
  • Excellent team leadership and conflict-resolution skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Ability to connect with school administrators, educators, and families
  • Organizational Strength
  • Able to manage multiple school sites, deadlines, and priorities
  • Comfortable using tools like Google Suite, QuickBooks Time, Monday.com, Discord, etc.
  • Mission-Driven Mindset
  • You care deeply about equity in education and creating joyful learning environments
  • You’re proactive, adaptable, and thrive in dynamic school-based settings
