This year’s event will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, from 6 to 10 pm, at the Sheldon Inn. Our guests will enjoy a special, one-of-a-kind performance by artist David Garibaldi, along with entertainment, fabulous food, and mingling with friends and family. Ashley Williams, from Good Day Sacramento, will preside over the evening’s activities, which will include a live auction conducted by Auctioneer Pat Hume, Elk Grove Council Member. This is an event that you don’t want to miss! Proceeds for this event benefit the programs of Elk Grove Food Bank Services (EGFBS). In these challenging times of COVID-19, EGFBS, along with the rest of the nation, is in a hunger crisis! In 2020, EGFBS provided more than 1,111,000 meals to more than 120,000 people, along with clothing to 17,532 people, including children and the homeless. The largest increase in need was among children and seniors in 2020. Children increased by 43% and seniors, who account for 23% of the Food Bank’s clients, increased by 33%.
