1st Saturday Opening Reception 1/4, 4-7PM, Susan Taira, Worlds Apart

Join us for the “World’s Apart” exhibit by Susan Taira. Susan’s work is often inspired by her love of nature and her bicultural background. This is apparent in her subject matter and materials that she chooses. In the mixed media and assemblages, she combines images of nature and Japanese culture with found natural elements such as twigs, leaves, stones, bone, shells, Japanese fabric, papers and printed materials. Her work ranges from photorealism to abstraction, two dimensional to sculptural. She’s all about variety and diversity in her life and in her work. Susan states, “Variety after all, is the spice of life.” The Center is located at 9020 Elk Grove Boulevard Suite 101, 95624. Business hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 11AM-5PM and Sunday 11AM-4PM. This show continues through January 23, 2025. Free to the Public.
